How MamaScore works
Every product is broken down spec by spec. We normalise each measurement onto a 0–100 quality scale, weight it by how much it actually matters for real-world performance, and combine them into one transparent score out of 100. Read the full published methodology.
1. Spec-driven
Weight, folded size, recline, wheels, suspension and car-seat compatibility — pulled from manufacturer data and normalised so every spec is comparable.
2. Quantitative & weighted
Each spec carries a weight based on how much it actually matters in daily life with a baby. No vibes, no sponsorships — the math decides the ranking.
3. Family-aware
We re-weight the same data for each kind of family — apartment, suburban, active-outdoor — to build genuinely useful best-of lists.
