Doona Launches the X — a Third-Generation Car-Seat Stroller
The iconic convert-in-seconds design gets its biggest update yet.
Doona has launched the X, third generation of its all-in-one infant car seat and stroller. Three changes lead the sheet: a three-position recline reaching roughly 159 degrees, a two-position handlebar that sits taller, and shock-absorbing wheels.
It meets ECE R129/i-Size and FMVSS 213a side-impact standards. The party trick survives intact. You still go from car seat to stroller in seconds without lifting the child out, which is the thing that made the original a fixture among city parents and frequent flyers.
There is still no built-in storage basket. Doona sells one as an accessory. MSRP lands around $899, which puts the X at the top of the infant-seat market.
