Today there has been a quick turn in baby names that is leading more parents to choose an old fashioned name. This turn of events is bringing back baby names that you might not have heard of in the past but now they are more popular than ever. I personally love this throw back to days of old and am excited to share the top fourteen of these names with you.

1. Clara

In the past Clara was one of the most common and popular names. Somewhere along the lines this name that means “clear, bright” and is from Latin origins seemed to fall out of favor with parents. I think that this name is cute and I have seen the name pop up a few times on one of my child’s classmate lists. Since I like the name I think that it is a great addition to those who are seeking something from the past that can be made new again.
