At only 20 pounds, the Bumbleride Indie is the lightest in its class. Its light weight, coupled with its compact fold, make Indie ready to go wherever you go! Introduced in August 2007, the Bumbleride Indie baby stroller is one of the more stylish all-terrain strollers. It comes in vibrant, unique colors not available in other brands. This stroller is an excellent choice for parents who want a comfortable, smooth ride on a variety of surfaces (grass, gravel, dirt, uneven sidewalks). The option to lock the front wheel in the straight position also suits the Bumbleride Indie for light exercising. For longer walks, shopping, or a day at the park, the Bumbleride Indie has a cupholder, large under-seat basket, and additional closing pocket on the back of the canopy for cellphone, keys, and wallet. The Bumbleride Indie stroller includes an insulated foot boot that zips securely onto the stroller, creating a safe, cozy place for your newborn and young infant when fully reclined. Like all true all-terrain strollers, the Bumbleride Indie has real rubber tires with air-filled tubes (just like a bicycle), which makes pushing easier and the ride smoother. The Bumbleride Indie comes with an infant seat adapter bar, so you can use it as a wonderful, safe travel system. It can accommodate these infant car seats: Graco SnugRide, Graco SafeSeat, Britax Companion, Peg Perego Primo Viaggio, Combi Center and Chicco KeyFit, Baby Trend.
